Police searching a home in November found child sexual abuse material and a stolen handgun in Â鶹´«Ã½.
Rudolph Conradie, 33, was charged with five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of a stolen firearm, according to a release from the Â鶹´«Ã½ Department of Public Safety.
Investigators received a tip that Conradie may possess child sexual abuse material at his home and executed a search warrant where they seized several electronic devices, including his cellphone, the release said. He was initially charged with possession of a stolen firearm, the release said.
The NC State Bureau of Investigation found explicit sexual images of juveniles on the phone, the release said.
Conradie was booked into jail on Dec. 4 on the charges of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the release said.
