“If you have to travel this morning, just use extra caution. Slow down, allow plenty of space between you and other vehicles,” Lane said. “Other than that, it shouldn’t be too much of a big deal.”

The snow will have moved east by this afternoon, Lane said.

Burke County

The snow has largely moved past Burke County as of 9:30 a.m., Lane said, though there may still be light snowfall in the eastern part of the county. For the most part, it has tapered into flurries, Lane said.
