Three people were charged after police seized trafficking amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl at a Âé¶¹´«Ã½ home on April 16.

Candace Yvonne Wright and Tyler Blain Harold, both 30, were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, trafficking opioids and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance, according to a release from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.

The charges came after patrol deputies with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Wright and Jerry Duane Anderson on April 16 for multiple narcotics violations and obtained a search warrant for Wright’s home on Dalton Drive in Burke County, according to information from the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
Burke and Caldwell deputies, the Lenoir Police Department, the NC State Bureau of Investigation and the NC Department of Adult Corrections State K-9s executed a search warrant at the home Wright and Harold shared. Officers found about 858 grams (almost 2 pounds) of methamphetamine and about 30 grams of fentanyl, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office said.

Wright was already in custody, but Harold left the home before officers executed the search warrant.
Deputies with the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Harold on Monday after a brief standoff with the Caldwell County SWAT Team. An illegally modified gun was found in Harold’s possession after the standoff, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office said.
This investigation spanned a month and led to the seizure of more than 1,000 grams of methamphetamine, 100 grams of fentanyl and two guns, the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office said. The drugs seized have a street value of about $178,240.
“The successful outcome of this operation underscores the importance of interagency collaboration in addressing the ongoing challenges posed by illegal narcotics in our communities,†the Burke County Sheriff’s Office said in its press release.
Harold was booked under an $800,000 secured bond with a court date set for April 24. Wright was booked under a $300,000 secured bond with a court date set for May 8.
