Ethel Brackett, 76, of Forest City, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Curtis Hoover Brackett, Sr. and Jessie Mae Lane Brackett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Brackett Sanders; and a brother, Curtis Hoover "Butch" Brackett, Jr. Ethel was a member of First Broad Baptist Church and retired from Valdese Weavers.
She is survived by a sister, Patsy Ann Brackett Bryan and her her husband Mike, of Pittsboro; a brother, Carl Wayne Brackett, Sr. and his wife Dianne, of Shelby; a sister in law, Brenda Brackett of Â鶹´«Ã½; a brother in law, Jerry Sanders of Forest City; and many special nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at First Broad Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Chastain and Rev. Jimmy Hamilton will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. Saturday at the church prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherford Lifecare, 859 Thunder Road, Spindale, NC 28160.
